About Our School
Welcome to Insight School of Michigan!
At Insight School of Michigan (ISMI), we are dedicated to providing a personalized learning experience for every student. Our mission is to empower students by equipping them with the tools and resources they need to take ownership of their education.
While ISMI welcomes students of all ability levels in grades 9–12, our primary focus is supporting at-risk students who face unique challenges. To enroll, students must be 16 years of age or older. We specialize in helping students who learn differently, are credit-deficient, have dropped out, have attended multiple schools, are homeless, or simply need a more flexible learning environment than traditional schools offer. Recognized as an Alternative Learning Program by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), we have created positive student learning experiences since 2014.
With a student body of approximately 1,000, we work hand in hand with families and students to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. As part of the ISMI family, we are proud to offer a high-quality, rigorous education that meets the needs of today’s learners.
