The Tools You Need

Here you’ll find resources to help you keep on track and get your family set for a great school year.

The Student/Parent Handbook is your source for information about programs and services available to you as a Michigan public school family. You’ll also find information about policies relating to our program and your school district, and the Insight district. Please bookmark this page or download and print the document so you’ll have it handy should you need to consult it.

We believe that a safe and secure educational environment is necessary for students to learn and achieve. It is our highest priority to provide an environment that is safe, secure, and conducive to learning. Demonstration of appropriate behavior, treating others with respect, and refusing to tolerate harassment or bullying is expected of students, administrators, parents, faculty, staff, visitors, and volunteers.

This guide was developed to help educators, students, and parents understand when it may be appropriate to use a personal curriculum (PC) option to modify the Michigan Merit Curriculum (MMC) requirements.

The Student Continued Engagement Plan is your go-to guide for handling system or technology problems your student may run into. It also provides advisor information. We recommend printing this out and keeping it handy.
